Meeting of project „Nordic-Baltic-Russian Academic Network in Bioinformatics“ within program “NORDPLUS NEIGHBOUR 2005-2007” was organized in Norway to discuss the proges of the Project as well as to visit Norvegian University of Life Sciences in As.
Biology course in Kaunas, Lithuania (May 2006) was organized within the project „Nordic-Baltic-Russian Academic Network in Bioinformatics“ within program “NORDPLUS NEIGHBOUR 2005-2007”. There were 6 participants from Latvia in the course.
That was the first conference in Latvia University of Agriculture with session devoted to Bioinformatics and systems biology. Dr.sc.biol. Douwe Molenaar from NIZO food research Wageningen Centre for Food sciences has visited our university and Biosystems group during the conference.
